An adorable story of a little mouse who goes in search of a special talent that he can share at the annual Whimsical Woodland Way fair, just like his friends, only to discover he is either too scared, too small, too shy, too clumsy, or too weak! Will Naughty Morty ever find a talent?

This story is inspired by author Emma Reed’s real-life journey from having a stroke in 2015 as well as kidney failure in 2018 and a transplant in 2019, to discovering a talent for doodling and writing silly stories whilst working on her fine motor skills.

All the characters in the book are based on Emma’s real-life family and friends with special elements in the book that have stories of their own.
